A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search box is sent to the third-party service that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information in the message and use it to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting services may keep standard server information such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review it in aggregate for reliability and basic traffic measurement. Cookies or similar tools may support analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Data Is Used
The limited information supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or construct profiles of individual visitors.
External Websites
Butler County, Ohio, library, archive, and third-party search links lead to independently operated services. Their own privacy practices control the information submitted there. Sponsored search results are likewise provided by a separate company.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Providers that host or support the service process its server information. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Data Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Because no visitor accounts are offered, the service does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about personal data a service retains. Ohio research did not identify a general consumer-privacy deletion statute applicable to this reference. Because we keep little, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing what we can. Use the Contact page. Records kept by Ohio, Butler County, or city custodians are outside our control; send those requests to the office that holds the record.
